This innovative and forward-thinking company is a global market leader in robotics for food producers! With over 2,000 employees across various locations, they work daily on technological innovations. The product portfolio includes various advanced (autonomous) robots that utilize different techniques and sensors.

Your department focuses on the development and optimization of electronic systems within these robots. The team consists of around 25 specialists, including experts in hardware design, signal processing, and embedded systems. Within this department, there is close collaboration with mechanical engineers, embedded software developers, and external suppliers to realize innovative and sustainable solutions. Although the development of PCBs and components is outsourced, the department plays a crucial role in specifying, validating, and integrating these components within the total system.

As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the electronic architecture and integration of innovative electronic solutions within various robotics products. You will play a key role in specifying, testing, and optimizing electronic components and systems. Additionally, you will work closely with external partners and suppliers to develop prototypes and production-ready solutions.
 

Your responsibilities

  • Design and develop requirements for new electronic solutions.
  • Collaborate with leading suppliers for prototype development.
  • Build and test electronic systems in the workshop.
  • Validate prototypes on-site under real-world conditions.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software engineers to develop the best possible solutions.
  • Guide suppliers in developing and producing electronic components.
  • Use test equipment to analyze failures and issues.


Your profile

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in machine building, automotive, petrochemical, or offshore industries.
  • Experience in designing and externally coordinating electronic production.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, embedded systems, and sensor technology.
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation.
  • Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus but not a requirement.

  • Salary between €4,700 and €6,000 based on 40 hours per week.
