Opdracht: Electronics Engineer - Robotics - Rotterdam

Duration: 6 – 12 months (with the option to extend)
Rate: 75-85
Hours: 32 – 40 hours per week
Location: Rotterdam area
For a leading organization in robotics, we are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer with a strong background in electronics development and high-tech systems.
The company is a global market leader in the development of advanced (autonomous) robots for the food industry. Within a multidisciplinary hardware team, work is focused on the development and optimization of electronic systems used in complex robotic systems. The focus is on PCBs and electronic subsystems, while the development and production of electronics is largely outsourced to external partners and suppliers.
In this role, you act as a link between hardware engineering, system integration, and external suppliers, ensuring a smooth translation of electronic designs into validated and production-ready solutions for various robotics products. In addition, you will contribute to activities required to obtain EMC certification for existing products.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop requirements for new electronic solutions;
- Build and test electronic systems in the workshop;
- Validate systems on-site under real-world conditions;
- Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software engineers to develop the best possible solutions;
- Guide suppliers in developing and producing electronic components;
- Use test equipment to analyze failures and issues;
- Contributing to activities required to obtain EMC certification for an existing product.
Your profile
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Computer Science;
- At least 3 years of work experience in a similar role;
- Experience in designing and externally coordinating electronic production;
- Strong communication skills and team orientation;
- Proficiency in English is required; Dutch is a plus but not a requirement.
