Windows Infrastructure Engineer - Brussels

Rate: €60 – €75 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

For an international organization operating critical business systems, we are looking for an experienced System Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer. The role combines operational infrastructure management with project-based work, including migrations, environment improvements, documentation, and support of business-critical systems.

The organization is currently preparing for future infrastructure changes and consolidation initiatives. As a result, they are looking for a hands-on professional who can take ownership of the environment, support day-to-day operations, and contribute to ongoing modernization projects.

You will work in a relatively small IT team with significant responsibility and direct impact on the continuity and stability of the organization’s core systems.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments;
• Administer and support VMware infrastructure;
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure and application-related issues;
• Troubleshoot server, infrastructure, virtualization, and connectivity issues;
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers;
• Contribute to infrastructure consolidation and migration projects;
• Assist with datacenter and system migration activities;
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures;
• Transfer knowledge and support internal stakeholders.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level;
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role;
• Strong experience with Windows Server environments;
• Solid VMware administration experience;
• Experience working in business-critical or high-availability environments;
• Experience with infrastructure migrations, datacenter projects, or consolidation initiatives;
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation;
• Fluent in French and English (mandatory);
• Dutch is a plus.
